The 45th Annual ICPC World Finals will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, hosted by the University of Asia Pacific , and organized by the Government of Bangladesh (ICT Division and Bangladesh Computer Council) for the world future IT leaders, researchers, software engineers and inventors. This event is being hosted as part of the 50th celebration of independence of Bangladesh, the country of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation. World Finals participants are committed to advancing the art of computer science by using their skills in problem solving to solve complex algorithmic problems. As hosts of the ICPC World Finals Dhaka, we wish all participants a wonderful experience in Bangladesh.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.
